We are a family focused surgery and welcome individuals and families of all ages.
Tima Health is a member of Nelson Bays PHO (Primary Health Organisation).
Enrolment
New patients can enrol by filling in an enrolment form (please contact Tima Health to ask if they are accepting new enrolments) and present it to our reception staff with TWO forms of ID. When you enrol you will need to have a nurse appointment before your doctor’s appointment to discuss all your general health needs and get full details of your health history. If you are transferring from another medical centre we will advise them to transfer your medical records over to us.
PLEASE BRING WITH YOU WHEN ENROLLING
- ONE – Your passport with any relevant visas OR a New Zealand birth certificate.
- ONE – Further form of identification, ONE needs to be a photo I.D (e.g drivers license).
Tima Health Fees
Fee info: Payment is expected at the time of consultation. Fees can vary according to the length of an appointment and equipment used. We reserve the right to charge overdue fees, interest, and collection costs on all accounts not paid by their due date.
Referral info: If you have been referred to one of the hospital services or a specialist, and have not heard from them directly within 6 weeks; please contact the consultant’s secretary or alternatively the Practice Nurse at this surgery.
All ACC consultations have a surcharge, plus cost of materials, ACC do not cover all expenses.
2 working days notice required.
CSC Holders: $19.50
Non CSC: $25.00
Urgent Prescription: $35.00
Prescription info: If you are on regular medication you will be asked to see your doctor every 3 to 6 months for a review. Please allow at least 2 working days before collecting your prescriptions.
Services outside of a regular consult will have additional fees, eg Drivers Licence medicals, blood pressure checks, ECG’s, referrals / completing forms, skin checks, minor surgery, etc. If you have any questions around costs please discuss with our friendly team.
Additional charges for Cryotherapy, Injection Fee, Depo Provera, Removal of Sutures, or any other additional service costs.
